The Tarayana Foundation’s Rural Development Initiative empowers disadvantaged Bhutanese women through business micro-grants, skills training, mentoring, and the facilitation of networking opportunities with relevant stakeholders.

The Dekyiling Settlement, established in 1980, is one of India’s largest Tibetan refugee communities (3,000 residents). It’s central meeting place was very small and in disrepair. The Shades of Compassion Foundation is funding the complete renovation and expansion of this facility.
